Ajaccio is a small town located on western coast of Corsica Island i.e. 390km from Marseille. It is the capital of Corsica and is at the base of wooden hills of Gulf of Ajaccio. This place is very near and easily accessible to the nearest cities. That is why; it is always crowded with tourists in peak seasons.
