Bogmalo Beach - Panaji

Bogmalo is a huge beach near Vasco port city and is an ideal picnic spot. Despite the fact that it is extremely popular, Bogmalo beach is not visited by tourists very frequently. There is this old village small chapel still present near Bogmalo beach. In the village you can find herd of hogs roaming around here and there.

It is a delight to watch number of fishing villages and beach restaurants present in between coconut palm bushes.

There is this famous hotel called Bogmalo Oberoi Hotel present on the beach and which provides every mean for tourists to spend their leisurely vacation. It is a great thrill to see stuck up shipwrecks.

Recently a dive school came into existence in Bogmalo to various diving courses that are approved by PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors).

These are operated outside Joet's guesthouse. The facility of Try drives for half day is also available for the beginners.

These dives to various coral beds and shipwreck sites are fully guided by instructors.

Since these are all packaged tours, you are advised to book your accommodation in advance. Some other luxurious hotels are also available facing the sea shore. Many affordable and comfortable staying options are also there.
