Vagator Beach - Panaji

Vagator beach of Goa consists of Portuguese bungalows exuding an old charm and beautiful farmhouses. You can reach the village via Mapusa road. While passing through this road you come across various restaurants and guesthouses before you actually reach Vagator beach.

The Indian hospitality with the addition of the Portuguese flavor is only possible at the beaches of the Goa. Vagator beach is also a part of the chain beaches of the Goa that have international fame and importance as tourist hotspot. Even though the place seems to be isolated from the normal hectic of the city life but still gives in a true experience of heavenly comfort.

The beach consists of white sand and is surrounded by red Chapora Fort. The beauty of Vagator beach is simply incomparable.

There is another beautiful beach called Ozran Vagator with ten minutes walking distance from Big Vagator. The beauty of the place is truly tranquilizing and closest to the nature.

Unlike Anjuna Beach, Vagator beach is pleasantly quite. The Vagator is surrounded by villages with green ambience of coconut palms. The beauty of beach speaks for itself with black colored lava rocks and white sand.

The beach is surrounded by crumbling palm-fringed laterite and is not easily accessible and is very much secluded.

To reach there; take the Chapora-Anjuna Road which directly leads to the white sand of beach.
