Kerama Islands - Okinawa

Kerama Islands consists of various subtropical islands that are located around 32kms from Okinawa Island. Kerama Islands can be easily visited both by air or sea but still many of them are uninhabited.

Out of 22 islands only 4 islands i.e. Geruma, Zamami, Aka and Tokashiki are inhabited. All these islands are covered with various green hills that comprises of distinct vegetation.

Kerama islands are also well known for their beautiful, unspoiled beaches that serve as a good medium for various water activities like windsurfing, hiking, fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling etc.

The ocean surrounding Kerama islands is quite calm thus making it ideal for anyone to enjoy swimming.

One can also explore the beautiful valley of Zamami island with the help of bus, car or even bicycle.

The locals are quite friendly and offer utmost help to the travelers.
