Muzhappilangad Beach - Kannur

Muzhappilangad beach also known as the only drive-in- beach present in Kerala, is located between kannur and Thalassery (15km from the town of Kannur and 8km from Thalassery).

Black rocks forms a border around the beach that safeguards the beach from stronger waves of the ocean. Muzhappilangad beach has shallow water that makes it an ideal place for swimmers.

The natural ambience of the place is sure to allure anybody to have a sunbath, swim or for lazing around. From Muzhappilangad beach one can enjoy an excellent view of the Dharmadam Island also known as the Green Island.

It is the only beach in Kerala, where one can drive continuously for 4kms on the sand.
