Miramar Beach - Panaji

Miramar Beach is located at a distance of 3 km from Panaji because of which it is a bustling tourist beach since it is easily accessible. People access this place to explore the dandiest beauty of the nature that is unseen and unmatchable to any other corner of the globe.

In Portuguese, Miramar means ‘viewing the sea’, which is an apt cognomen for the beach considering the waters of the powerful Arabian Sea that spread out into the horizon. Gaspar Dias was the previous name of this beach.

From the riverfront street called Dayanand Bandodker Marg, Panaji is at a distance of 15 minutes by foot.

Dayanand Bandodker Marg was named after the first chief minister of Goa. Aguada Fort situated at the opposite side of the Mandovi River can also be seen from the Miramar beach.

Accommodation is not at all a problem at Miramar beach because of its urban nature. A lot of hotels and beach resorts are situated in the close vicinity of the beach.
