Tarkarli Beach is located at a distance of 6 km from the south of Malvan and from Mumbai it is at a distance of 546 km.

It lies on the western coast of India, at the meeting of Arabian Sea and Karli River. The narrow and long stretch of the beach, with its pure waters, is the reason of such popularity and importance of the beach. One can also see the depth of the bed as deep as 20 ft provided the conditions are favorable.
