Beaches of South America are known for their unique geographical features that are nowhere else in world. Different beaches of South America are sufficed by wonderful climate and conditions. Talking about the famous beaches of South America, there is Ipanema, Rio De Janero located in Brazil which is amongst the world�s highly urban beaches. Then there is Ponta Negra, Manaus also in Brazil which is river beach and has developed into one of the popular hot spots of the continent. In Argentina we have Pinamar Beach and Mar del Plata Beach. Mar del Plata Beach is one of the major fishing ports and one of the most significant beach resorts in Argentina. Then there also are the Tucacas Beach in Venezuela, Salinas Beach in Ecuador, Punta del Este in Uruguay, Valparaiso in Chile and Punta Sal in Peru which come amongst the preferred beaches of South America. The best time to visit the beaches of South America is from the months of December to February.
